Sharing of Personal Information

Financial Freedom takes precautions to secure your personal financial information. When you apply for a loan with Financial Freedom, you expressly authorize us to share your nonpublic personal information with our parent IndyMac Bank. We collect nonpublic personal information about you from your applications, your transactions with us, our affiliates and/or others. We may disclose nonpublic personal information such as your name, address, social security number, assets, income, loan balance, and payment history. This information will only be used when we identify financial services that are beneficial for our customers and to prevent fraud. Customer information, which is shared between Financial Freedom, IndyMac Bank and our other affiliates, is monitored in accordance with our strict security and confidentiality policies. Please be advised that our employees are trained in properly handling confidential information and must adhere to Financial Freedom's security policies. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information of former customers except as required by law.
In certain circumstances, financial services opportunities with non-affiliated third parties may arise that we find may be of interest and a benefit to our customers. We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
